Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

I remember the family well they used to have a shop just above roffis i particularly know their youngest son Gary also known as butcher

They later had the butcher shop in pontlottyn, my Nannie Mair is 94 this year!

I have just discovered these comments whilst looking for old photos which I had hoped would show the Owen family shops. I am the grandson of Horace Owen who was the brother of Harry Owen (their father was also called Harry). Horace was also a butcher but for some reason he didn’t work in the family business. I stayed with him and my Grandmother when they lived in Dowlais. I don’t know much about his side of the family but do vaguely remember an “auntie Elsie”. I guess Huw was Horace’s nephew. Looks like we are related
