Good Old Days

I still live in Ash not far from the Chequers. Unfortunately the Chequers is now closed. I wish someone would buy it and get it up on its feet again, so many memories there.

It's nice to know that you're still there Daphne. I missed Westmarsh so much after we moved to Hackney.

I knew it was you wondering where I was. It certainly was a long time ago. Do you still live in Hackney. I came to visit my brother when I last saw you but he died at the age of 31 . He was killed in a car crash. Have you ever been back to Ash or Westmarsh since you left. Do you keep in touch with anyone from here. I'm not a fan of Cliff now like I used to be more the modern music.

I have two children and five grandchildren 2 great grandchildren. I had my daughter before I married my husband. Ian and I have a son, he has Asperger's and is 30 . My daughter is 46 and she doesn't like David doesn't understand his condition. My dad died at the age of 59 he had a coronary. The day before my brother died my dad had a coronary and then 2 years later he died. My wedding was October1971 ,my brother died 1972 May 12 th and my dad died 1974 May 21st. My mum died 1990 two days after my birthday, it goes on and on. I did nursing at Margate Seabathing but couldn't do my general training as I had my daughter. My daughter lives in Ash but my son lives in Doverxx

My life has always seen tragedy or upset. I've had a good marriage but at the moment my husband is in hospital and has been there for over a year. He was a builder and qualified nurse, he has suffered with agitation and anxiety for 8 years he's now in a forensic hospital in Maidstone. I do a lot of crying. I'll tell you more when you reply. Yes I am on facebook but I don't write too much as its trust with people reading my messages.
