Clarendon Road School

I went to Clarendon Road from 1964 to 1966 and I have nothing but happy memories of my time there. I would love to see any photographs of the school too. I remember learning embroidery with the lovely Mrs Gabbage (I think that was her name!) and also learning to play the recorder. Does anyone remember the day the school was struck by a lightning bolt which bounced off the roof of the house opposite, in a shower of sparks? All the other kids were cowering under their desks, but I was eagerly looking out of the window!
