Clock House Lane
A Memory of Ashford.
I was born in a tiny house on Clock House Lane (the youngest of nine) and spent many happy hours playing over on "the rec". My brothers played soccer, and we all played tennis, and went putting on the miniature golf course. We also played on the swings a lot.

Not sure if Ihave the right family.but tn 1953 I started atAshford Grammar School. In my little first year group of friends was Michelle, dark blonde hair and blue eyes. She lived in Clockhouse Lane and had a handsome brother xalled Thane. We were a friendly group but she, Mary Smith and Daphne and Bridget went onto Wycombe Abbey school.
Gosh memoriesand the internet do have some good points.
Hope this reaches you, Jane.
