Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

Further south-east, the old village of Walton suffered greatly in the 1960s. The buildings on the left went to accommodate a dual-carriageway road widening. The church is Holy Trinity by David Brandon, built in the 1840s in flint pebbles and stone, with further Victorian additions in brick and stone. The rather good Georgian houses beyond went in 1927, to be replaced by Holy Trinity's Walton Parish Hall.

Memories Of My Childhood.
I grew up in Aylesbury, Barnsbury Avenue, Hardy Close and 73 Westmoreland Avenue. I really miss those days. I went to Broughton Infant and Broughton Junior School and then the Grange Secondary School. I emigrated to the U.S. in 1974 when I was 13 years old. I was a Brownie and a Girl Guide. I rode my bike there from Westmoreland Avenue every week. My parents have passed away and I really miss England ...see more

Aylesbury Gymnastic Club
I will never forget the day when I and my friends met Ralph Mayo who came to our school Abbey Road to see if any of us wanted to join his gymnastics club, we were nine at the time and I think my best friend then was Carole Neale. Growing Up In Aylesbury
We moved there in 1949,from Yorkshire. My father was at Westcott mod, I went to Tring road infants, then to to the Grange when it opened in '54. I was made head prefect in my last year there in 1957/8. Jansel Square Bedgrove
Mum and dad moved into 49 Ingram Avenue on the day of the Great Train Robbery in 1963, when Bedgrove was a new build estate. I was born there in September 1964. Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
