More about this scene
The long avenue of beech trees which lines the road beyond Wimborne, towards the ancient hillfort of Badbury Rings, is one of the finest sights in England. In the autumn, the overhanging branches form a seemingly never-ending tunnel of gold as the traveller journeys onward.
