More about this scene

St Mary's Church is reputed to be one of the largest churches in Oxfordshire. Its 170ft spire, built in the 13th century, can be seen for miles around. The cottages and houses are mainly 18th- and 19th-century, and the view we see here is more or less as we would see it today.
