Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

I remember Blakes Corner and Blakes Market - my friend Ann (now my sister-in-law) used to buy our stockings at Fannie Shaws market stool in the market.

Hi Marian, hope you can solve this question, I am saying that Blakes Market was in East Street along by Sainsburys, boots, and Killwicks and the court,but someone on our Barking and Dagenham group is saying it was in Ripple Road, would love it if anyone could help thanks.

Hi Rose,You are right Blakes market was in east street on the same side as the Law courts but if my memory serves me well Killwicks was in Ripple Road ,we also had a market on Ripple Road but it was where the old cinema the "bug Hutch" used to be and Wallis super market was at the very end where my aunt Kath used to work
