Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

A Memory of Bassaleg.
Happy wonderful memories of Bassaleg where i was born . My mother being from pentre poeth my father the nook in rogerstone . Went to bassaleg infants school merlin jones was headmaster scared the wits out of me but mrs lukker wasy fave teacher by far . Going to st basils at harvest festival with our boxes of fruit so proud walking down the aisle to the front . Bassaleg post office where me and mum would call in for sweets . Mr Hayward ran it then with his wife . The shops were left to right brian james and his dad butchers . Mrs lawton . Grocery shop and wool shop where if u made a purchase theyd wrap it in paper pulled from a large roll on a stand . Played in park in fortview with bartons who delivered the newspapers on the end . We lived at top of church cres . Alfred and esther podmore are my parents with 3 older brothers paul . David and wayne
Im proud to be a bassaleg girl . It still takes my breath away when i go through there even now after many years . Its changed but menories live with us all and good ones at that . Hayley jones nee podmore .
