Bath, Newbridge Road 1909

More about this scene
There was considerable expansion of Bath in the later 19th century along the valley towards Bristol. This view looks west along Newbridge Road with its terraces of neat villas. These all survive, albeit now with concrete roof tiles. Most of the front garden stone walls remain, but the trams and the overhead cable standards have long gone.
