Bath, The Circus 1911

More about this scene
It was originally named King's Circus; work started in February 1754, but Wood himself died in May and the work had to be completed by his son, John Wood the Younger. There are three equal and similar blocks, with paired columns flanking each window on each of the three storeys: a Roman circus turned inside out.
