More about this scene
On the left is Bwthyn Llewelyn (Llewelyn Cottage); its signboard says that it caters for the Cyclists' Touring Club, the National Union and the Clarion Clubs. The cottage was an alehouse prior to the building of the Royal Goat Hotel. It is now a National Trust shop and information centre. Note the old petrol pump on the extreme right.
