Bewdley, Load Street c.1950

More about this scene
We are looking towards Telford's bridge. Load Street is short but wide. The substantial-looking structure on the right with the Doric pilasters is the Town Hall, completed in 1808. Next to it, and somewhat heavily disguised as the town post office, is a 16th-century timber-framed building.
