More about this scene

Biddenden is a classic Wealden village with an unspoilt main street, lined with a range of fine medieval and 17th-century buildings. Half-timbered weavers' houses, with broad first-floor work-room windows, can be found on the south side. The Red Lion, on the right, is said to have been built by a soldier returning from Agincourt in 1415.
