Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Begun in 1618 for Sir Thomas Holte, Aston was not completed until 1635.This picture shows the east front; it comprises a main block of seven bays topped by a clock tower and two-stage cupola, and two projecting wings each with a square turret. During the English Civil War,Aston was held for the King by Sir Thomas. It is still possible to see the damage caused by Parliamentarian

Burcot Grange School Four Oaks Warwickshire
I went to Burcot Grange School until 1948. Miss Cozens was the Head Mistress. I remember Pam Madeley, Janet White, Betty Genders, Margaret Vale, Jill Trott, Joy Cavill, Ann Barnett who were all in my class. I wonder if anyone remembers? It was such a nice school. Childhood Memories
This area has many happy memories for me. My Mom and Dad, Nan and Granddad lived in Holte Road, my parents would take me to Aston Park in the summer, then I would sit on the wall of the Holte pub and enjoy some orange squash and crisps. Happy Days
Living not far from Aston Park we would often walk to the park to play and enjoy the fresh air. Aston Hall held a fascination for me and I was forever asking to go inside for a tour. I would go in when ever I could and I never tired of it. When I grew older and moved away I never forgot it and I have always kept happy memories of it in a special place in my heart. Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
