The Palatine Hotel was one of the largest in the resort with 120 beds, though the Metropole and the hydropathic establishments were bigger. The County, Clifton, and Palatine were in a similar price range, and in 1906 their daily pension rate (room, meals and all services) was 8s 6d a day.
