The war memorial at the junction of Hollidays Road and the main Earith to St Ives road was moved in early 1976 after a lorry hit it. It is now sited on the grass to the right of the picture, and has been replaced with a flowerbed.

I was a Dr Banardo's boy. I was with Mrs F Ashton for about 3 yrs, at the homestead, which I think has since gone, it was an old pub.
