More about this scene
Bluntisham was famous in the last century for speed skating. Skating was introduced from Holland by returning Royalists in the late 17th century, and race meetings were held annually on Bury Fen between Bluntisham and Earith. The pub has changed from the White Horse to the Swan, but is still a Tolly house.
