Bosham, Old Mill 1903

More about this scene

This old watermill at Bosham has changed a little since this photograph was taken in the early years of the 20th century. Converted to a house, the upper floor now has many more windows, including a dormer window above the weatherboarded section in the middle. Bosham is famous for a saying which suggests that at high tide she is a fine lady, but at low tide, a slut.
