More about this scene

Tintagel is a 'must' on every tourist's itinerary, and the main street is full of hotels, guest houses and souvenir shops, many developed since writers such as Tennyson romanticised the legend of King Arthur in the 19th century. Even the village's old name of Trevena was changed to Tintagel. Since this view was taken, the area has been developed in front of the Tintagel Hotel, half of which has been changed to flats and a shop.
