Lying near the coast below Bossington Hill, these cottages over- look a stream that once powered a corn mill. Close by is Lynch Chapel, a medieval chapel-of-ease to the church at Selworthy. With the manor, it formerly belonged to the abbey at Athelney, but it fell into disuse after the Dissolution until Sir Thomas Acland restored it in the 19th century.
