More about this scene
On the right is St Catherine's, reputedly the oldest house in the village, then Last's butcher's shop, once noted for its fine sausages, but now demolished. The gable on the left is Southgate Farm, the home of Eric and Emma Burroughes, the village wheelwright, whose work was featured in the film 'Requiem for the Village'.
