A Memory of Boyles Court.

I was sent here due to the fact that I kept absconding from my other childrens home in Leigh on sea and was told as we all were that I would be there for 6 to 8 weeks....it was lot longer than expected. I remember having a huge crush on a boy called Spencer from Harlow I think and we would all play bulldog in the grounds.Every now and then we would hear a siren going off and rumours went round that someone had escaped from the nearby mental hospital....that was enough to send us all inside quickly.I have good and bad memories but was never mistreated there.Joanna Hamilton
