My name is david noble and I lived at no and we all ways played crikey on the green

I was born in 1941, we lived in an old Army hut, opposite 'Burraper' Mill. Strictly speaking this was in Sherborne St. John, being the other side of the Beau Brook and the Iron Bridge, but Bramley was a lot nearer. Anyone remember the Jacobs of bulls down farm l used to ride a huge horse called monty many years ago fond memories of my younger days

I lived at Lane End, Bramley no 6 in the circle.  The white cottage in the picture use to have an apple orchard next to it.   Me and my cousins used to try and get apples before the old lady got out of her house but she always caught us and told my gran .    the house where the car is ,is where my cousins lived the woolfords.               sheila
