Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Bredbury 1960s

A Memory of Bredbury.

i went to highfield secondary school in 1960 and most of the teachers mentioned were still there then including mr edwards headmaster i remember doing all the things you stated including going down star fields on pieces of cardboard falling off before we went into the canal also camping in the T qaory eating cold baked beans as we had forgotton to take an opener with us bredbury /woodley was a great place to live in those days life was a lot simpler and safe then

You are correct Bredbury and Woodley were great places to grow up in the 50's and 60's. I remember the clay pits and trying to make rafts to float in them but the end result was always the same we ended up soaked.
