Bristol cathedral has two Lady Chapels. The Elder Lady Chapel was built by Abbot David around 1210-1215, and was restored in the 1890s. Originally, it was detached from the main building, but was incorporated at some time between 1298 and 1363 when the choir was reconstructed.
