Sitting on the southern side of Bunbury, the Crewe Arms has now been renamed the Yew Tree at Bunbury. Photographs such as this are a remarkable reminder of just how fast plants can grow, because the buildings in the distance are now well hidden behind tall trees.

My great great grandparents are from Bunbury. They moved to the Manchester area in the 1850's; Peter Jackson, son of Richard Jackson and Hannah Rycroft. I would love to know about them, I would also love to see pictueres of Tiverton Moss and surrounding areas. donnaalex99@hotmail.co.uk
My aunty Jenny and uncle Albert Stockton used to live at the house in the triangle which used to be the old jailhouse. My dad, Ivor, used to take me and my brother John there and he used to cut our hair in the old shed.
The small porch at the front was put on in about 1958, we made it in the workshop at H A Vickers & Son who were builders in Bunbury.
My brother Nigel was born here in 1957. It was both a farm and public house kept by my great uncle and aunt, Tom and Alice Moore.
