Chanctonbury Road

A Memory of Burgess Hill.

My family lived at 113 Chanctonbury Road in the early 1960s. I remember some neighbours--the Pinneys (Geoff and Sarah) and the Misters, who had a cat called Chivers, the parent of our cat, Ginger. We did not stay long--Dad got transferred to Cheltenham in the mid 60s, but I have such happy memories of the place!

My brothers and I attended a Franciscan convent school near the station. The nuns were lovely to us!
