St James Burnt Oak
A Memory of Burnt Oak.
I remember my days at St James school they were hard days in the 1965 approx I remember getting the strap by sister Catherine for being late we lived in Harrow Wealdstone and I had to catch 3 different buses to get to burnt oak hard days I remember fighting the goal beaters in the park across the road and going down to miglios cafe and icecream bar with my mate miglios his father was the owner of the cafe I also attend st Thomas school at Stanmore marsh lane was alson a terrible school we all lived in fear these youngsters would have never been able to take what was dished out to us pupils on a daily basis I call it builing
