Traffic comes to a standstill for this large flock of sheep being driven along the main road. Near Cross Foxes, a tract of land on the slopes of Cadair Idris known as Tir Stent carries an unusually nutritious vegetation, which supports more sheep per acre than the poor acid soils elsewhere in these uplands.
