A Memory of Cadgwith.

We moved to Cadgwith in 1979, the best move of our lives, everyone was so friendly. Our two boys grew up there and had the time of their lives fishing and playing on the beach. We were sad to leave in 1987 but will never forget Cadgwith. Steve and Shiela Thornton.

When researching my family tree I discovered that my grandfather Arthur Mann Jane (born 1871) lived in Cadgwith with his parents William and Ann Jane and his grandparents Anthony and Mary Jane who were born around 1814 and married in 1835. The 1971 census indicates them all living at 25 or 26 Cadgwith. I live in Plymouth and plan to visit the area sometime in the next year or so.
