Looking For 1987 Photos Of Caister Holiday Park — Kids Playground & Welcome Sign

A Memory of Caister-on-Sea.

Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone might have old photos from Caister Holiday Park in 1987, back when it was owned by Ladbroke. I went there with my mum and brother for my very first holiday — I was 5 at the time — and although Mum didn’t take any pictures, I’ve never forgotten it.

I remember:

• A kids playground built like a fortress right by the café 🍦
• A wooden “Welcome” sign near the entrance 🪵
• Sneaking into the toddler play area pretending I was 3 so I could play with the toys daily 😂
• Singing London’s Burning with other children during the activities
• Our chalet was right in front of the playground, with all the fun happening just steps away

If anyone has photos of the playground, the wooden welcome sign, or even the general layout around the café and chalets from that time, I’d be so grateful to see them. It’s a really special memory and I’d love to reconnect with it visually.

Thank you in advance! 💛
