Living In The Area All My Life
A Memory of Camberley.
I have lived in Frimley all my life, my Dad was the local Police officer - ending his career in Frimley Police Station but he also worked in Camberley, Woking, Farnham etc and in Elstead as one of the first village bobby !
A dear friend of the Family Colin Williamson was laid to rest today - he use to run Colins Cage n Collar in Camberley High Street but the later date still ran the 3c's cattery in Yatley - so sad such a super man and friend - love and best to his wife Kathleen
Frimley was a great area to grow up in I went to the Grove School, with Mrs Finding being the head of the infant school and Miss Abbot head of the middle school - then I went to Tomlinscote - Mr Carter was Head at the time
I did the last year of O'levels and CSE''s and the first year of GCSE's
I now live in Camberley but both my parents still live in Frimley in the same house where I grew up since the age of 4
Lots of changes have happened some for the good and some for the bad - I still have happy memories of growing up with my brother Martin and my parents Mollie and Derek - having a link to the local area means I still know lots of people so when I go out shopping I often meet people either I know or Mum and Dad know
Happy New Year
