More about this scene
Dwarfing the surrounding buildings, the 43,000 square feet of England's mother-church and the seat of the Primate of All England is revealed in all its architectural glory from this unusual vantage point. Ninth in size amongst the English cathedrals, with a total interior length of 517 feet and its central tower ascending to 235 feet, it is still one of Europe's most celebrated places of Christian pilgrimage.
