More about this scene
It looks like the postman chatting with a passer-by; the whole area has a present-day feel. The Crossways corner shop is using every inch of its frontage to advertise its wares, a practice applied today and yesterday. A caravan is parked up in the first driveway just above the Morris 1000 on the road, whilst in the background a triple arch carries the railway.
