Chatburn, The Toll House c.1955
Photo ref:

More about this scene
The building dividing the junction was built in 1739 as a toll-house, but since the late 1930s it has been the home of Hudson's ice cream. The secret recipe was devised by Margaret Hudson, daughter of the butcher who then owned the shop. Although it has since changed hands, the present owners continue to make the same delicious ice cream.
