More about this scene
The school moved to the above buildings from Coulsdon in 1948, when two head teachers acquired Pirbright from Sir Walter and Lady Moberly. Pirbright, in Hogscross Lane, is an ancient manor and is mentioned in Domesday Book as being held by Chertsey Abbey. The brick structure on the right is part of the 17th century farmhouse with the remainder being Victorian extensions. The school left the premises in 1984.
