More about this scene

This is Chorley's main street, the A6, Lancashire's main north to south road; it used to get very busy in the summer. Our photograph was taken before the M6 or the Chorley by-pass opened - Chorley was troubled by heavy traffic for many years. Bleasdale's furniture shop and Yates's Wine Lodge are on the left, and Mangnells and E R Booth are on the right.

Can anyone remember my grandad Mark Gregory? He had an Antique or Second Hand shop called The Mart, he died when I was young. I am doing a family tree and need to find as much info as possible about him to enable me to continue my search as I lost my father in 2004. Thank you
