I went to the tin school in about 1960, I can remember Mr Parkinson, Miss Etock, and the head master Mr Keaveney. Then on to Harpurhey High School, just for 2 years. I loved both those schools. I lived in the Swan Inn, and then left Manchester but returned to live in The Joiners Arms on Collyhusrt Road.
