More about this scene
The Rising Sun public house is ideally situated to refresh visitors who moor their boats alongside the well-kept common. The scene is little changed today, although summer sees boats, mostly fibreglass cruisers now, moored nose to tail and often two abreast, along this reach of the Bure. The houseboat has long since gone, as has Bullards Norwich brewery.
