More about this scene
Monk's Buildings 1894 From Angmering we head north across the Downs to Storrington, now a large village that started its expansion in late Victorian and Edwardian times. This monastery lies west of the church, along what is in effect a back lane; its main building, here seen from the north-east with the lane on its left, is of the 1850s and built in a suitably austere style. To its right is the Roman Catholic church of Our Lady of England.
