More about this scene
The parish church is a survivor, standing defiantly against the changes that have affected the village. It is the oldest building in Corby, parts of it dating to the 12th century. Built of local limestone, it faces what is a now a busy dual carriageway. In November 1999, an Edwardian time capsule was opened, and a modern one was buried in the chancel area, to be opened in 2100.
