A Memory of Coulsdon.

I used to attend Sunday School classes at this church, when we lived in The Drive Coulsdon from 1962 to 1965.
One day after church my Mum, who had come to meet me, had an old holdall in which was the prettiest tortoiseshell kitten which we named Cindy.

The Esso garage at the top of Marlpit lane was run by my uncle dick , aunty rube , joy and Brian Lawrence. There was a large workshop at the back and their lovely Alston Shandy who used to sit on the forecourt. Many Great parties took place in the house crowded with people around my uncle Dick playing swing on the piano.
