Cranleigh, The Village Hall c.1960

More about this scene
View C180008 was taken in front of the village hall. It is dated 1935, and is a large timber-framed building of some quality, convincingly done. Village Way now passes to its left to the Leisure Centre and its car parks. The buildings to the right have been demolished, and are replaced by a modern shopping centre with the upper floor tile-hung in Surrey vernacular style.
