Reading through what people have put about Crawshawbooth brings back so many childhood memories my grandparent George and Gertrude Walsh lived on the end of School Street and we had some great holidays there, there used to be a bench at the end of school street and grandad used to "rest" there! Hello, my name is Danny Corcoran and I am trying to trace my family tree. Unfortunately my father James Thomas (Tommy) Corcoran died last year and he hardly ever spoke about his life growing up. Hi, the name's Tony Conway. I now reside in the States and have for the past thirty years. For approximately two or so years I lived and worked in the Jesters Pub in Crawshawbooth. I am looking for any information about a family called Mccormack, they lived in Stonehome Terrace, then Goodshawfold, then Hamer Avenue. Phyllis Mccormack was in the army in the 1940s, stationed at Catterick army camp (anything on her would be very welcome).
