I lived in Lynemouth as a youngster and my mother took me to your grandfathers shop to get my hair cut. I can remember he had a wooden box that he put on the barbers chair and I would be plonked on top. That’s about 60 years ago. I recently read Sid Waddell’s autobiography and he refers to Wilson Cochrane in the book. Happy memories of a childhood in Lynemouth.
