More about this scene
This man and his best friend are sheltering from the sun on the north-facing side of this Victorian enclosure. They appear to be deciding which way to go, as there is a choice of two esplanades: one is virtually on the beach, where dogs have total freedom, and the other is along the top of the cliffs, where to keep the animal on a lead is safer for all concerned.
