Vine House Farm Nene Terrace

A Memory of Crowland.

Not so much a memory, but I'm researching my family tree and my family, the Patmans, lived in Nene Terrace at Vine House Farm. My great grandfather is Arthur George, born in 1899 and died 1964, he was married to Vivian Paul and they had children Fred (Born as John Frederick), Jean, Elizabeth (my nan), George and Violet. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers this family and if anyone has any stories regarding them.

I lived in Nene Terrace when Fred and Kath lived at No 12. In the early 1960’s we used to visit frequently to watch TV; programmes like Laramie and Wagon Train. I used to play with Geoff, Fred and Kath’s son. We made carts with old pram wheels and ran them up and down the road. I think Geoff is in US but his sister Carol is still nearby. Prior to Nene Terrace they lived in Miller’s Row. Both are now demolished. Subsequently they moved to Vine House Farm.
