Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

My mother always used to mention Creeds, and that she worked there. I only know the name and didn't even know where in Croydon it was, until reading this memory. My mother's name was Vera Lyall and I think she worked there until she got married in 1956. I recall she met my father there. His name was Clifford Tassie. Do either of these names ring a bell with anyone??

My parents worked at and met at Creeds in the 50s! Married and moved to Sussex where they both still are, 87 and 93 respectively. They courted in the park nearby...Father was a draughtsman there and mother a personnel secretary.
