Cuckfield Hospital
A Memory of Cuckfield.
I and my twin brother were born at Cuckfield Hospital in 1965. I went back there today for the first time in at least 30 years with my 13 year old son. It brought a tear to my eyes. The area seems very different from what I remember. Does anyone know when it stopped being a hospital and it was converted to flats and offices?

Cuckfield Hospital finally closed in 1991. All the services were transferred to the new Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.
The old administration block was converted in flats but the old Chapel still survives.
